This have been specially designed for an extensive surf or estuary as you will notice from its name.
This is mainly for flatfish and it have been loaded enough power and speed on blanks to cast heavy lures such as metal vibration or heavy jig head in against wind.
We think that you will be able to feel not only enough toughness on butt section to keep fish under control even in backwash but also enough flexibility on berry section to set hook on the mouth of flatfish smoothly.
And you will be able to do light jigging from shore using metal jig which is up to 35g with it.
