【New for 2025】BlueCurrent Wizy Series ～Light Game x Multi-Piece～
In 2025, the BlueCurrent Wizy will be released as a flag ship models of the BlueCurrent series, a light game model that is the symbol of Yamaga Blanks.
The word “Wizy” comes from “Whizzy,” which means “having extraordinary potential.” The multi-piece models being released this year are not only focused on being easily portable, but also on providing performance that is comparable to that of two-piece models.
It was developed as a truly free “angler-first rod” that combines versatility that does not limit targets or methods, excellent basic performance that makes this possible, and portability that allows it to be taken anywhere, regardless of means of transportation.
The development of this rod started with a suggestion from an angler who had moved to the middle of city.

Indeed, the more joints there are in a multi-piece model, the stronger the stiffness in each joint, which hinders smooth bending.

Development began with the goal of eliminating this “discomfort,” and the ideal model was born, combining the same specifications as a 2pc with the portability of a multi-piece. This is the BlueCurrent Wizy series.

As a rod manufacturer, it goes without saying that we pay particular attention to the blanks, but the Wizy series also comes with rod bags that are packed with angler-oriented attention to detail.
The Wizy series comes with a dedicated nylon rod bag. There are three sizes available depending on the length, and it is a 2-way design that is easy to carry and store.

A 2-way rod bag that is easy to carry and store
The rod bag for Wizy series is a 2-way design that can be transformed into two different shapes.
When folded in half, it can be used to store and carry rods, pliers, scissors, plastic worms, and other lures and tools.
*Please be careful as the rod may pop out if the handle side is pointed downwards.
If you are storing only the rods, you can roll up the bag and the rods together.
Although it is compact, it provides protection similar to that of a semi-hard case, so you can carry it in a travel bag or backpack.
